Directors
O&M is the collaboration of a team of experienced practitioners who recognized the need for expertise and skills in corporate recovery and insolvency services. Two directors being Mr Ong Kong Lai and Mr Wong Cham Mew are also the founding partners of Ong and Wong Chartered Accountants, a partnership which was established in 1977 and remains active today providing accounting services principally in the areas of auditing, taxation, secretarial and corporate services, corporate recovery and insolvency.
O&M is managed by three directors being Messrs Ong Kong Lai, Wong Cham Mew, and Alex Lai Yoke Hoong.

Ong Kong Lai
Kong Lai received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from New Zealand and a Bachelor of Industrial Management degree from Nanyang University, Singapore. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in New Zealand and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Taxation, Malaysian Institute of Internal Auditors, and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is an approved auditor and liquidator.
Kong Lai as managing partner of Ong and Wong Chartered Accountants presently acts as auditor and advises public and private companies on their restructuring and/or listing exercises. He also sits on the board of a number of public and private companies where his independent professional advice is often appreciated.
Kong Lai has over 30 years of professional and management experience, and has acted as advisor, liquidator or receiver and manager of a number of companies across a diverse range of industries including property development and construction, manufacturing, information technology, plantation, tourism, timber, retail, bakery and confectionery, and shipping.
