Wong Cham Mew
Cham Mew received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from New Zealand. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in New Zealand and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Taxation, Malaysian Institute of Internal Auditors, and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is an approved auditor and liquidator. Cham Mew has over 30 years practical and hands on experience in the areas of taxation, auditing, corporate recovery and insolvency. Like Kong Lai, he also sits on the board of a number of public and private companies. As a fully fledged practitioner, Cham Mew has extensive experience as advisor, liquidator or receiver and manager in a wide range of industries including property development and construction, manufacturing, plantation, tourism, timber, and retail.


Alex Lai Yoke Hoong
Alex received a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in accounting, business law, and management from Australia. He is a member of CPA Australia. Alex has practiced at a senior level specialising in corporate recovery and insolvency for over 18 years with major firms including KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Australia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. He has extensive experience on major assignments in the forms of restructuring schemes, receiverships, special administrations, liquidations, investigations and other specialist services involving public and private companies across a wide range of industries including property development and construction, insurance, financial services, retail, tourism, shipping, manufacturing, metal recycling, timber, and mining. He has formulated and implemented restructuring schemes that would provide the best possible returns to stakeholders whileoverseeing and returning the operations of distressed companies to profitability.

Alex presently sits on the board of a publicly listed company pursuant to the company's proposed Scheme of Arrangement, his role in relation to the Scheme being to ensure that the company's creditors are kept informed of its progress and to address their Scheme related concerns.
